In the morning, you will see the magnificent landscapes of the mountain range Serra do Mar by train. Enjoy the breathtaking views and some snacks on board. At the end of the morning you will reach Morretes, a nice small town, and try the local dish "barreado" - beef stew, fish and spraws while viewing the River Nhundiaquara. In the afternoon transfer to Porto de Cima. From here, you will go tubing down the river.

Return to Curitiba by Estrada da Graciosa.

Difficulty level: This tour is quite easy, but you should not be afraid of water. Due to the rocks in the river, you might get some bruises.

Important! This tour may be cancelled due to low water levels. In this case, we will suggest alternatives to replace it.

Itinerary

8:15 - You will leave Curitiba by train to Morretes.
11:15 - Arrival in Morretes. Meet your local guide and visit the old part of the town.
12:30 - Lunch in the historical centre of Morretes, where you will try the local dish "barreado" - beef stew - with fish and spraws.
15:30 - Transfer to Porto de Cima.
16:00 - 17:30 - Tire-tube adventure on the river
18:00 - Clean Up
19:00 - Return to Curitiba by Estrada da Graciosa
20:30 - Arrival in Curitiba

From booking date to 30 days prior: no charge
15 to 29 days prior to arrival: 50% reimbursement
10 to 14 days prior to arrival: 30% reimbursement
Less than 10 days prior to arrival: full charge

What to bring:

Light clothes and a jacket in case it gets cool

Cash, as it might be difficult to withdraw money in Morretes
Long-sleeve t-shirt and closed-tie shoes for the river (for your comfort and safety)

Train ticket in the category "turista" with snacks, soft drink and Portuguese speaking guide on board (up-grade to category "executivo" with English speaking guide on board is available - R$ 40,- per person)
Lunch in Morretes (barreado and fish - no beverages and dessert included)
Local Portuguese speaking guide. English speaking guide available for an extra fee of R$ 150 that will be divided among the participants
