Hiking to Waterfall Salto da Fortuna - from Curitiba

In the morning, you will see the magnificent landscapes of the mountain range Serra do Mar by train. Enjoy the breathtaking views. At the end of the morning you will reach Morretes, a charming small town in the foothills. After trying the typical dish for lunch, the tasty "barreado" or beef stew, with fish and spraws,  while viewing the Nhundiaquara River, you will visit the State Park Pau Oco and hike to the waterfall Salto da Fortuna. Later you will return to Curitiba by Estrada da Graciosa, stopping for pictures.

Itinerary

8:15 - You will leave Curitiba by train for Morretes.
11:15 - Arrival in Morretes. Meet your local guide and visit the old part of the town.
12:30 - Lunch in the historical centre of Morretes, where you will try the local dish "barreado" - beef stew - with fish and spraws.
13:30 - Transfer to Pau Oco State Park and begin hiking tour to waterfall Salto da Fortuna.
15:30 - Arrival at the waterfall and time for swimming.
16:30 - Hike back.
17:45 - Return to Curitiba by Estrada da Graciosa.
19:30 - Arrival in Curitiba.
